Juvenile delinquency in India: An analysis

Abstract: The purpose of this research paper is to examine how India's juvenile justice system has changed over time and how it has affected juvenile delinquency. Any society's social fabric is impacted by the serious problem of juvenile delinquency. India's strategy for handling young offenders has seen substantial adjustments throughout time. This essay gives a summary of how India's juvenile justice system has evolved throughout time, from its first unofficial methods to the creation of official legal frameworks. The study looks at the causes of juvenile delinquency and assesses how well the current legal and rehabilitation policies work to lower juvenile crime. Lastly, the report makes suggestions for interventions and policy changes to solve India's problems with juvenile delinquency.
